Free Motorhome/RV Return or Rental?

I’ve heard that some Motorhome / Rv Hire companies pay you to return their motorhomes from one depot to another – just wondering if anyone has information on this? We are doing a cross USA trip and it would be ideal for us as we are on a budget

I’m in Australia and we have www.standbycars.com.au that have opened up in America. They have a few return vehicles if you look at their hot deals but one usually has to pay for some of the fuel and insurance.
